Uganda
The Uganda IR training program is an extension of the successful Road2IR program who’s first site was in Tanzania. The training program is based out of Mulago National Hospital in Kampala.
Mulago National Specialized Hospital was founded in 1913. It is a component of the Mulago Hospital Complex and part of the teaching facility of Makerere University College of Health Sciences. Located in the capital city of Kampala, it has grown to have an official bed capacity of 1790 beds. It is the largest public hospital in Uganda.

Has been a nurse for 30 years. Previously worked as a midwife in the labour suite, anti-natal and family planning units. Completed IR training at Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania

Assistant Nursing Officer
Has been a nurse for 30 years. Worked previously in paediatrics and ICU, and medical outpatient departments. Joined Diagnostic Imaging in 2022. Received IR training at Mulago Hospital
